Your neurons in your brain produces an electrical signal. This signal travels your spinal cord and into your nerves where it is then received by the dendrites which are connected to the cell body and cause an action potential which cause your muscles to either relax or contract based on the received signal. Nerve activation by the TENS machine is achieved through electrical stimulation. This stimulation is much greater than the electrical impulse generated by your brain which overrides your brain's natural signal this causes your muscles to involuntarily contract and relax and it stops any signal from your muscle to your brain or from your brain to your muscles.

TENS stands for trans-cutaneous electrical nerve stimulation. TENS units are primarily used for pain relief. This is done through the application of electrical stimulation to the skin via electrodes in order to stimulate nerve fibers. Pain relief is achieved in two ways one through the blocking of information between the nerves and brain the other by the release of opioids in the brain.

We know what it's like to experience the discomfort of muscle soreness and inflammation. We have a profound interest in the medical field. So we set out to create a portable, and convenient TENS unit at an affordable price. We used a low power microprocessor for increased efficiency, used a wall adapter in order decrease cost for the user by not having to supply batteries. TENS Machines TENS can be used for relief of pain associated with: Back pain, Nerve pain (neuropathy), phantom-limb pain (a chronic pain syndrome following limb amputation), and migraine or chronic tension-type headaches. TENS can also be used for muscle soreness from overuse, inflammation and both osteo and  rheumatoid arthritis.
